A block of 10 rooms have been reserved for Friday (10/18) and Saturday (10/19) at a nightly rate of $149/night + tax.  Each room will feature either a single king bed or a 2 queen beds.  Each room has a microwave, fridge, Wifi access and a private balcony.  A complimentary breakfast is included each morning.

The St. John's  "N" Club invite all conference attendees to attend a luncheon with a guest speaker program at the Wyndham Hotel.

This is a great opportunity for photographers and nature lovers.  

The Park is filled with vast numbers of plants and animals, including birds, butterflies, alligators and Florida cracker horses.

At the park, you can walk more than 3.5 miles of crushed gravel trails and boardwalks, experience the lush landscape from viewing platforms, and learn about the habitat.  There is a $5/vehicle entry fee.

Afternoon Tour of La Chua Trail at Payne's Prairie State Park

This is an optional tour for those not attending the business meeting.  

La Chua Trail at Payne's Prairie State Park

 4801 Camp Ranch Rd
Gainesville, FL 32641 

 La Chua Trail leads to Alachua Sink and the center of the prairie marsh and wetlands. Abundant wildlife including alligators and migratory sandhill cranes.  Another great opportunity for photographers.

A knowledgeable guide will lead the tour.

In the event of rain the tour will be of the Natural History Museum.

Lunch will be a choice of Ham and American, Roast Beef and Cheddar or Turkey and Swiss sandwiches.  Each sandwich is accompanied with mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and a pickle spear.  Each lunch is served with a freshly baked cookie, bistro potato chips, assorted sodas or bottled spring water.


DEADLINE for lunch reservation is September 25th.

The walk is on a flat surface and is about 3 miles round trip.  Will want to wear long pants, sunscreen and bring a hat.
